"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out — because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out — because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out — because I was not a Jew. And then they came for me — and there was no one left to speak for me. – Martin Niemöller ** To sit back hoping that someday, some way, someone will make things right is to go on feeding the crocodile, hoping he will eat you last - but eat you he will. - Ronald Reagan

My job as a nurse in Hungary!

I like my job because I like dealing with ill peoples. I work 180 hours per month.
I work at Szt. János Hospital on a psych. ward as a nurse. I help solve the patients' different problems - mainly spiritual and mental ones. I help doctors with cures.

At my workplace we are concerned about the Hungarian public health, which is very depressed. I don't know why there aren't objective and personable conditions, which could possibly give more value to the patients’ lives. In this country nurse salaries are extremely low, and there isn’t much honor in the trade, so the highest qualified young nurses go abroad.
